Bakers’ Contest – Circles, Squares and Triangles!

To be held in conjunction with Green Up Day, the 5th Annual Bakers’ Contest theme is “Circles, Squares and Triangles”.  It’s all about geometric shapes as well as taste and appearance.

Judges will recognize baking excellence in three “all ages” categories and one “under 18” category. Participants can enter up to 1 item per category.

All ages:

1) Cinnamon Buns

2) Savory Triangles

3) Dessert Squares

Junior Bakers – Berry Tarts

Drop off your entries no later than 10:30 AM at Elvin Johnson Park.  Judging will take place during Green Up Day with prizes awarded around 1 PM.

Entries must include the recipe. Four pieces is all you need to enter and “all ages” participants may enter in all three categories. The recipe along with the first and last name of the baker and contact info (phone number and email address) should be taped to the bottom of a disposable container/plate/platter. If the baker is under 18 years old, please indicate by adding “Junior Baker entry” to the contact info.

This is a free, family-friendly event.
