Baker’s Contest

To be held in conjunction with Green Up Day, the 2nd Annual Bakers’ Contest theme is Berrilicious

Judges will recognize baking excellence in three “all ages” categories:

– a cake decorated with the berry theme

– a berry-based pie or tart

– a chocolate-berry dessert

In a fourth category, kids under 18 can enter with “Anything Berry”

Drop off your entries no later than 10:30 AM at Elvin Johnson Park. Judging will take place during Green Up Day with prizes awarded around 1 PM.

Entries must include the recipe. The recipe along with the first and last name of the baker and contact info (phone number and email address) should be taped to the bottom of a disposable container/plate/platter. If the baker is under 18 years old, please indicate by adding “Junior Baker entry” to the contact info.

This is a family-friendly event.
