Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED Level C Training – Monday, option 2

July 13, 2026 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Thinking about improving your skill in Basic First Aid and CPR training?  HHLPOA members who responded to our 2025 fall survey, expressed a keen interest in this training. We heard you, and we are very pleased to offer a one-day, 7.5 hr course in certified Emergency First Aid and CPR/AED Level C Training this July 2026. The one-day training is fully in-person with no online training and will be provided by Canada CPR – a training partner of the Canadian Red Cross. Participants will receive Red Cross Certification in Emergency First Aid and CPR/AED Level C after successfully completing the course and the exam. Participants must be present for 100% of the course.

The one-day course will be offered on 2 separate days from 9am-4pm at the Stanhope Community Centre on North Shore Road.

~~ option 1:  Sunday, July 12th

~~ option 2:  Monday, July 13th

We have limited spaces, so a maximum of 20 participants each day.  HHLPOA members (max 2 per household) take first precedence and a reduced rate of $55/person for the course.  If there is space available, non-members will be offered participation, as space allows, at the full course price of $110/person.  (HHLPOA membership is $40/year, so it is economical to join and get the reduced course rate!)

The curriculum includes: Responding to Emergencies. Check, Call, Care. Choking. Circulation Emergencies. CPR and AED. Breathing Emergencies. Wound Care. Head, Neck, Spine, and Pelvis Injuries. Participants must complete a multiple-choice exam at the end of the course. A minimum score of 75% is required to pass. Certification is valid for 3 years.
