Float the River – in Style + bird house painting

Back for 2025, this fun competition is for kids under 18 years of age (but adults are needed too). Kids, decorate your tube/inflatable raft/floatie and/or dress yourselves up in a crazy costume!
Put in at the bridge on Little Hawk Lake Road near Braeloch Road between 1-1:30pm on August 7th, 2025. Each group or pair of kids must have an adult with them and everyone must wear a life jacket and have a paddle. Participants will entertain the Kennisis River folks and land at Elvin Johnson Park to see who wins the “In style” prize.
There will be a fun Bird House Painting activity at the park after you finish your “Float the River”.
