Kids Photo Challenge – moved to the rain date

$10Due to inclement weather, we’re moving this event to the rain date, August 11th. All other details remain the same.
That was so much fun last year, that we’re organizing our “Kids Photo Challenge” with the Roberta Bondar Foundation once again!
Kids are invited to attend this weekday event with a parent, grandparent or other adult. Bring your own picnic lunch and enjoy the day learning what makes a good photograph and exploring the environment around the Hawk Lake Log Chute.
Point and Shoot cameras will be loaned for the day to child participants. Adults are invited to bring their own cameras. Volunteer Leaders from The Roberta Bondar Foundation will be teaching using the work of Dr. Roberta Bondar and The Bondar Challenge (more info here https://therobertabondarfoundation.org/initiatives/the-bondar-challenge/). Participants will also be invited to enter their photographs into that competition for an additional $10.
Great prizes including one super special top prize! Once again, the Puzzle Factory in Haliburton will donate a custom-made puzzle featuring the winning photo.
Space is limited to 24 school-aged participants. Rain Date: August 11. Please email transfer the entry fee to hhlpoa.treasurer@hallshawklakes.ca or bring cash to the event.
