Native tree & shrub sale

HHLPOA is holding a “cash and carry” sale of native trees and shrubs on May 24th at Elvin Johnson Park on Halls Lake. Here’s a way to purchase inexpensive native trees & shrubs, selected specifically to be well suited to the ecosystems on our lakes. Naturalize your shoreline or build up the diversity of your property!

There will be a limited number of species and trees/shrubs available, so show up early for the best selection! Seedlings will be “bare root” and will be between 12″ & 24″ tall. They will need to be planted within 24 hours, so make time to garden on May 25th or 26th. Seedlings will be priced at $5 each (no tax).

The sale will run from 10am to 2pm. Haliburton County Master Gardeners will be on hand for advice on planting and care.
