New for 2023! Kids, Float the River – in style!

New for 2023, this fun competition is for kids under 18 years of age (but adults are needed too). Kids, decorate your tube/inflatable raft/floatie and/or dress yourselves up in a crazy costume.
Put in at the bridge on Little Hawk Lake Road near Braeloch Road between 1-1:30pm on August 8th, 2023. Each group or pair of kids must have an adult with them and everyone must wear a life jacket and have a paddle. Participants will entertain the Kennisis River folks and land at Elvin Johnson Park to see who wins the “In style” prize.
There will be a fun Bird House Painting activity at the park after you finish your “Float the River”, led by local artist Mary Intven Wallace.
