Non-Perishable Food Drive

We’re trying something different this year as we continue to support the Minden Community Food Centre with an end of season “clear out your cottage cupboards” food drive.

From Labour Day until Thanksgiving Day, we will have a collection bin stationed at the former “Krista’s Baits & Bites” at 1588 Little Hawk Lake Road. Drop off your donation of non-perishable food into the bin at your convenience. Check the website for the Minden Community Food Centre to see what they’re looking for.

We’ve had great response from the Halls & Hawk Lakes community over the past couple of years with this food drive. Thank you to everyone who contributes to support the local community with this food drive and a special thanks to Dennis for allowing us to place the collection bin at such a convenient location!
