Summer “Green Up Day”

Now in our sixth year, our goal is to ‘green up and clean up’ the roads around the Halls & Hawk Lakes.

We’ll meet up at Elvin Johnson Park on Halls Lake at 10:30am, rain or shine.  Wear sunscreen & comfortable shoes, because you’ll be walking along the shoulder, picking up trash as part of our ‘Green Up’ crew. Wear brightly coloured clothing or visibility vests, and of course, bring sturdy work gloves.

We will supply garbage bags and snacks. Did you see that there’s a baking contest too?
