HHLPOA advocacy in action – Join us Thursday, Oct. 17 as we present to council about the Hawk Lake Waste Disposal Site

Are you concerned about the Hawk Lake dump closing and NOT being made into a Transfer Station?  You had your say in our survey – and you had lots of comments!  Now it’s time to come out and show support for our HHLPOA President Peter Dadzis and Vice President Mo Jansons, who will be making a presentation to the Algonquin Highlands Council on Thursday October 17th at the township office on North Shore Road. The council meeting begins at 9am. The HHLPOA delegation is only allowed 15 minutes for their presentation; it would be great if we can make that time really count by a good showing of concerned taxpayers.

Our letter to council & a summary of survey results & responses are below.  Hope to see you on Oct. 17.
