While Thanksgiving is a time for sharing food and gratitude with family and friends, we are also making it a time to support others with our HHLPOA Food Drive. Thanks to everyone who already donated during the Labour Day weekend to the HHLPOA Food Drive for the Minden Community Food Centre!
The final date for the annual HHLPOA Food Drive is this Sunday October 12th. Drop off your non-perishable food items at Elvin Johnson Park, Little Hawk Landing or Big Hawk Marina between 10am-1pm.
Please keep in mind that we cannot accept anything that has passed its “Best Before” or “Use By” date. The Minden Community Food Centre has a list of items they need here: https://www.mindencommunityfoodcentre.ca/what-to-donate
If you are not able to make it on Sunday, you can always donate by cash or e-transfers to the Minden Community Food Centre. They will issue income tax receipts. See their website for more information about donations: https://www.mindencommunityfoodcentre.ca/
