Annual General Meeting recap

It may have been pouring rain, however over 100 cottagers and residents turned out on Saturday, June 22 for the HHLPOA AGM. Shalom by the Lake were gracious hosts and many folks stayed for the BBQ and social time following the meeting.

In addition to our business meeting, we heard from AHT Mayor Liz Danielson, Nikki Spensieri from Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary and HHLPOA Director Alison King about loons, and Bill Cornfield and HHLPOA Director Will L’Heureux regarding the CEWF (Coalition for Equitable Water Flow) with a great video about the Trent-Severn water system.

We also presented Elaine & Ted Burbidge with our “Volunteer of the Year” award.
