Kids (and Parents) Photo Challenge Day is back again on Wednesday August 13th from 9:30am-1:30pm. HHLPOA is the only lake association in Ontario teaming up with The Roberta Bondar Foundation to provide this learning opportunity to school-aged children (5-18) and their accompanying adult.
Everyone will learn a lot about photography and kids will have a chance to win a terrific grand prize, all while appreciating nature at a spectacular local spot. Huge thanks to the puzzle-making factory, The Occurrence, for once again providing the grand prize of the winning photo to be made into a puzzle.
Bring your own picnic lunch to the Big Hawk Log Chute, where our learning will begin. Don’t forget to also bring sunscreen, bug spray, and a water bottle and a charged laptop if you happen to have one available. Cameras and instruction will be provided by The Roberta Bondar Foundation for a $10 fee. You should pre-register your kids for this event – register online here:
