Another successful Annual General Meeting

Thanks to everyone who was able to attend the virtual AGM on June 8th. As part of our business meeting, the 2022 budget and slate of directors were approved by our members. We also reviewed the activities from this past year and the plans for 2022.  Many thanks to HHLPOA Director D’Arcy Le Neveu who coordinated the Zoom meeting, including the agenda and surveys.  We’ll be posting survey results and meeting minutes on the website in the near future.

Our invited guest, Mayor Carol Moffatt, spoke to topics of concern, including short-term rentals, the Maple Lake Landfill, the reconstruction of the Hawk Lake Log Chute, among other township issues. Once again we wish outgoing Mayor Moffatt all the best following her 16 years of public service.

Keep in mind whether you are a seasonal or full-time resident of Algonquin Highlands you are able to vote in the upcoming Municipal election, October 24. More information is on the Algonquin Highlands website.
