To safeguard our residents, we’re piloting this citizen-led plan to help safeguard drinking water sources across rural Ontario.

Why should you do this?
While municipal systems are heavily regulated, private water sources — like those in Algonquin Highlands — often aren’t. In fact, nearly 3 million Ontarians rely on private wells or small systems that are largely untested and unregulated – like ours.
