Loons, shorelines and community: Wildlife on our Lakes seminar

We are very grateful to the Tomlinson family for hosting the third annual Wildlife on the Lakes seminar at their cottage on Big Hawk Lake.

Olivia and Ruby Tomlinson presented valuable information about the “ribbon of life” along our shorelines and about the Common Loon. Did you know that the Common Loon migrates to the Atlantic and Pacific oceans for winter?

About 30 cottagers were hosted by the Tomlinsons on Saturday, July 27th. Thank you to everyone who participated, and of course, to the Tomlinsons!
If you, like some our attendees, are interested in supporting the citizen science activities for the HHLPOA Year of the Loon, please email president@hallshawklakes.ca
