Kids aged 5-18 are invited to the Photo Challenge Day organized by the HHLPOA in collaboration with the Roberta Bondar Foundation on Wednesday August 13th, 10am-1:30pm.
Parents have told us that this is a fabulous experience. Here’s some of what one parent had to say:
- By stopping to notice all the beautiful, interesting and mind-boggling things that are all around, we are teaching all the kids (and parents) that there is so much to treasure around the Halls & Hawk Lakes. We just need to look up, look down and look along the ground
- Learning and providing take home extension of what we did
- Surprise freezies and gift bags for all participants
Cameras and instruction will be provided by The Roberta Bondar Foundation for a small fee.

Kids and Parents Bondar Photo Challenge – Halls & Hawk Lakes Property Owners Association (HHLPOA)
Parents, you will no doubt learn a thing or two about photography as well when you accompany your child for this Photo Challenge Day. Bring a picnic lunch, sun screen, bug spray, water bottle. In addition to the incredible top prize from the Puzzle Factory of a custom made puzzle, there are also Kawartha Dairy coupons for a 1.5 container of ice-cream for the first 10 registrants
