Such an exciting opportunity for school-aged children on Wednesday August 10th to learn more about nature photography and have a chance at entering for a grand prize featuring their work! Thanks to the puzzle factory “The Occurrence” of Haliburton, the winning photo will be printed on a 504 piece puzzle. How cool is that! There will be lots of other prizes including Kawartha Dairy gift certificates.
This learning experience is offered through the Roberta Bondar Foundation. It happens at summer camps and schools across Canada, but this is the FIRST for a lake association to collaborate with the Foundation.
Kids with a supervising adult will gather at the Big Hawk Log Chute Park from 9am-2pm. Bring a lunch & water – we’ll supply cameras for the day. Registration is limited, costs $10 per child and must be done in advance. Please click here for more info and to register.
