What a load of garbage!

Thanks to the dedicated work of the HHLPOA Fall Cleanup Volunteers, there are 21 fewer bags of garbage (weighing in at 132 pounds) in our precious woods. According to lead organizer and HHLPOA Director Alison King, this is just a “drop in the bucket” of leftovers from the old Hawk Lake Landfill which animals have dragged into the nearby woods.

After the hard work, the group was still able to enjoy a beautiful hike of the Circuit of Five Viewpoints. Well done everyone!
